Determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in asphalt products by gas/liquid chromatography.

The purpose of the Proficiency Testing Program (PTP) is to compare and evaluate the results of the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in asphalt products by gas/liquid chromatography according to Decree No. 283/2023. This program is primarily intended for participants from European Union countries. This restriction aims to ensure sample stability during transportation.

The program aims to provide objective information on the measurement capabilities of PTP participants. The primary criterion for participation is timely registration. Submitting the results and timely payment of the registration fee are the basic requirements for receiving a Certificate of Participation and the Final Report on the proficiency experiment results.

There is a trade surcharge of 62 % for selected countries (Algeria, Colombia, etc.). This fee is associated with the complexity of documents and tax administration.
